Gunnuhver mud pools are named after a female ghost that was laid there. She had caused great disturbance until a priest set a trap for her and she fell into the spring. This happend about 400 years ago. She must have put up quite a stink, because the whole area reeks oh sulfur.
Blue Lagoon was fabulous. A soak in the thermal pool, mud facial and much needed shower!
