Friday - On the road to Hofn

We started off the day with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. 

It is just over 400 Km from Lake Mývatn to Hofn.  During the trip, the landscape changed about every 30 km - from desolate to rugged grassy hillsides to cultivated and back to desolate.  There were often 360 degree magnificent views.  It was impossible to capture it all in pictures.

We traveled on route 1 through Möðrudalur, Egilsstaðir, Hallormsstaður and Djúpivogur.
